DIAPER

Today I changed Kitty's diaper and when I finished, she started yelling at me. "Change guy! CHANGE GUY!!" I turned around to see what the heck her problem was and there was Buzz, lying in the diaper changing spot with his legs spread apart. He looked so hilarious just laying there that I couldn't help But play along. Kitty got him all changed. And then Spidey got in on the action too. Lucky guy.

KATE

Our baby is 2.1 years old and man, is she sassy! This girl knows what she wants and when she wants it. She is quick to tell Nick "KY-IT! (QUIET!)" when he is playing piano. If he doesn't stop immediately, she will crawl up next to him on the bench, put her hand on her back and softly say, "Listen. No no." She says "Fake you mommy daddy" for every little thing, whether we got out of her way or gave her a favorite snack. She knows where all her kids go to school so when we are out running errands and pass one of their schools, she calls out their name and wants to "go get him." She sings "Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed" about a hundred times a day. If she is not interested in whatever we have to offer her, we get a quick "I know want it...." and she moves on. She loves to hide things and then ask us where they went. Usually it is hidden in her shirt, but we pretend not to know that.:) When we ask HER where it went, she smiles her sassy smile, puts her hands up and says, "I no no!" She doesn't miss a beat and if she does, she immediately says, "What happen mom?" so I can catch her up.  She is the first kid to get their scriptures out when it is time to read and reminds us to "Pray!" every time we sit down at the table. When the rest of the family is talking, she likes to be included too so she will pat someone on th arm and then just start talking all kinds of Chinese. She uses her hands and rolls her eyes and it soon becomes the most interesting conversation at the table. Every day is exciting with Kitty around. Love this little miss. XOXOXOX

LOST

Tonight this gal went missing. We looked all over the place with no luck. The last place any of us had seen her was at church this afternoon. Once all the little kids were in bed, Chris and I drive over to church to pig hunt. She wasn't under the pews, she wasn't laying in the nursery room. We opened the toys closets and finally, there amongst two dozen baby dolls and shoved clear in the back, was our Lalo. We were both SO happy to have found her! For a moment, we talked about the movie Toy Story, and how the toys came to life and how little Lalo must've hated being trapped in there with all those crying babies. It was good to see her again. When we got in the car, Chris patted Lalo and said, "I'd drive all over town to find this pig." He loves his little Kitty and had just rocked her to sleep, minutes before, while she kept saying "Lalo see! Lalo see!" Her heart was broken without her pig and her daddy couldn't rest until his girl was happy!

NJHS

We are super proud of our girl Olivia! She was nominated to apply for National Junior Honor Society a month or so ago. After a couple evenings of working on the four-page application, she was ready to submit. ( I honestly thought we were trying to get her into college, for all the work that went into it!) She found out this week that she was accepted and tonight was the induction ceremony. Way to go, sis. Smart girls are cool.;)
