CEREAL

So Chris has this recipe he calls "Dad's Special Cereal." It is basically a ton of butter and brown sugar with a little bit of oats mixed in. And the whole family LOVES it. I have tried to make it and, in Olivia's words, "No offense mom, but you make it too crunchy." Today I started melting the butter for Chris and Olivia quickly motioned to him to take over at the stove before I got at it.:) I love that it really is a special breakfast for the kids. So special in fact that they line up at the stove, bowls in hand.....

(Chris puts toasted pecans in mine so it's pretty special for me, too. Thanks babe!)
