PUMPKINS

We just completed the 2nd Annual Smith Family Pumpking Carving Contest! The kids each picked out their own pumpkin, the only rule being they had to be able to carry it to the check out. (Otherwise Chris and I would have been hefting the biggest pumpkins on the lot!) Olivia and I blew the boys out of the water last year but they got us this time. Look at the preciseness of those vampire fangs! Enjoy the victory, boys, cuz it won't happen again......
GUTS!

This guy was in it to win it

"WE'RE READY!"

So I thought I had the boys ready for church and then this flew into my bathroom while I was getting dressed:
I wish this wasn't blurry....it's such a cute photo!

Thankfully this guy kept his clothes on and just added the walkie talkie. So it was only G.I. Joe that needed a little help...

HALLOWEEN PARTY

This year I was one of the Halloween party helpers in Nick's  Indiana Jones' class. We had a great time! The kids brought snacks for the Witch's (trail) mix, we made carmel apples and played lots of fun games. It is crazy how much planning goes into parties and then it's over just like that! All the kids had a good time and Indy liked me being there so that was fun!

DREAM BIG

The theme for fourth grade this year is DREAM BIG! Each class got different colored DREAM BIG
t-shirts, they have a motto and a song and all the classes meet together monthly to discuss what it means to believe in themselves, achieve goals, etc. etc. This is right up Olivia's alley! Here she is, all ready for the first BELIEVE meeting of the year!
