BUCKET CLUB

I am one proud momma. Today Nick brought home a special letter from the principal of the school stating the following:

"Your child has been chosen to eat breakfast with me to celebrate his fabulous character, great decisions, and for being a positive role model in our school."

Donuts and Juice with Mr. Palmer! THAT is a really big deal! Nick was thrilled to be chosen for this honor and of course, his mom and day were rather pleased as well. He is a smart little boy, full of interest and questions, so I figured he would do well in school and that he has. But boys will be boys...he loves to wrestle, fight and bounce off the walls. The kid can't even sit down long enough to eat. Wasn't too sure how he'd hold up behaviorally in a structured setting.... You can imagine my surprise when he arrives home each day and announces that, once again, he has never had " a card pulled" for acting poorly at school. He really is all boy though and just cannot stop moving! I find great relief in knowing that he keeps his animalistic behaviors here at home, just for his family to enjoy.
